DTU's innovation hub, DTU Skylab, is looking for a versatile student assistant who can contribute to the execution of house events and solve ongoing administrative tasks.

About DTU Skylab
DTU Skylab is the university's vibrant hub for innovation & entrepreneurship, with activities such as startup support, courses, business collaboration - and lots of events! In its 10-year lifespan, DTU Skylab has developed into a vibrant innovation environment with, among other things, office facilities, event rooms, lounge areas, laboratories, and prototype workshops. Thus, the new DTU Skylab is a synergistic connection point between students, researchers, startups, and businesses in an interdisciplinary ecosystem for tech innovation and entrepreneurship.

Work assignments

  • Setting up and executing events
  • Other practical and administrative tasks

You will be part of our event team, consisting of an event manager, an event coordinator, an event coordinator trainee and two event assistants. 

We are looking for students who:

  • Have at least one year (and preferably more than two years) left of their studies
  • Have experience with executing events.
  • Can communicate in English both orally and in writing 
  • Can work 1-2 days per week (Wednesdays and Thursdays are our main event days). 

As a person, we need you to be creative, proactive and take pride in delivering high-quality results. 

You will be given many tasks - often with short deadlines - so it is essential that you can maintain an overview, work efficiently and conscientiously, and deliver on time.

Salary and terms of employment
The appointment will be based on the multi-union collective agreement for the Organisations of Public Employees—Denmark (State) (OAO-S) and the trade union agreement for clerical staff etc. (HK/State). 

Working hours are on average 10-12 hours per week and can be organized flexibly concerning holidays, exams, etc. The employment runs as long as you are an active student. Start date is 1 March 2024.

Place of work is DTU Lyngby Campus under the auspices of DTU Skylab.
