Do you want to work part-time in a dynamic space and tell stories of innovation and exciting tech entrepreneurship?

We are looking for a motivated and structured part-time communications assistant with a knack for creating content that leaves our audiences with hearts in their eyes.

DTU Skylab is DTU's innovation hub. We are a vibrant community with a diverse set of activities, such as curricular courses, company collaborations, and start-up support programmes. In the 10 years that DTU Skylab has existed, it has become a leading innovation and entrepreneurial hub with more than 5500 m2 of innovation space and a strong international outreach.

There’s a lot going on, but we promise that it will be fun!

What you’ll do:

  • Write and develop cool stories about tech, entrepreneurs and more for our website and SoMe
  • Help out creating video content for our digital channels on occasion together with our partner (they do the filming and editing)
  • Assist with maintaining our website, indoor TV screens and other “analogue” channels
  • Assist with visual communication (video and graphics)

We imagine that you:

  • Study a degree in the field of Communication or Journalism
  • Have a sharp digital pencil and know how to write
  • Have a knack for social media content (both the written and the visual aspects of content creation) and aren’t afraid to try out new ideas
  • Are familiar with Adobe, Canva or other visual software platforms
  • Are proactive and have good people skills
  • … are interested in the world of tech and entrepreneurship

The practical stuff
You will be working at DTU Skylab, in Kongens Lyngby, close to public transport or even an easy bike ride from Copenhagen. You will work with our Communication Manager, our in-house Graphic Designer, and a little more than 60 other colleagues, just waiting to say hi to you!

Terms of employment
We expect the appointment to be based on the multi-union collective agreement for the Organisations of Public Employees—Denmark (State) (OAO-S) and the trade union agreement for clerical staff etc. (HK/State) or the collective agreement with the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations (AC).

Working hours are, on average,15 hours per week and can be organized flexibly in relation to holidays, exams, etc.  

We hope to have our new colleague start on 1 November 2024 or according to mutual agreement.
