At CERE we are currently developing a world-leading research group in gas cleaning technologies. The scientific field of gas cleaning, especially carbon capture, is growing, and we expect this to continue for many years to come. Our fields of research include fundamental measurements of chemical properties, laboratory experiments, thermodynamic modeling of electrolytes, and pilot plant operation. 

We are looking for 2-3 part-time employees who are interested in joining our team. The fixed weekly working hours are arranged according to your wishes.

The job
The job will consist of different tasks related to laboratory work in a larger project. These tasks could include:

  • Experimental work with electroscrubbers
  • Data acquisition and analysis
  • Literature search 
  • Report writing
  • General dissemination

Our expectations of you
You are interested in or would very much like experience with laboratory work, including data collection and analysis, literature research, report writing and dissemination.

You must be a team player, used to working independently, be strong in detail and be proficient in English at a professional level. Perhaps you are a student in a relevant master programme.

You have completed a relevant bachelor programme or perhaps you are a laboratory technician at an early stage in your carrier.

Salary and appointment terms  
Salary and appointment terms are in accordance with the OAO-S Joint Agreement and the organization agreement for Office Clerks, Laboratory Technicians and IT staff (HK/stat); or the collective agreement with the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations (AC).

The position(s) are part-time and time-limited to 1 year. The weekly working hours are minimum 8, but can be discussed further between the candidate and the hiring team.

The place of work is DTU Campus Lyngby.
