Division of Geodesy and Earth Observation, DTU Space is looking for an academic assistant to process Sentinel-3 & 6 high-resolution satellite altimeter data.
The job
You will work in assisting researchers at DTU space in preparation for a new high-resolution mean sea surface. You will partly handle satellite data to derive mean profiles from Sentinel-3A/B and Sentinel 6 using new 5Hz altimetric data. You will also contribute to the ongoing work on ICESAT-2 for coastal mean sea surface.
Our expectations of you
You have completed a relevant BSc program and are presumably enrolled in a relevant master's program. You can work independently as well as in a team. Knowledge about satellite altimetry is an advantage.

Salary and appointment terms
The appointment will be based on the collective agreement with the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations (AC). You are employed as an Academic Officer.
Working hours are on average 10 hours per week and can be organized flexibly in relation to holidays, exams, etc. The starting date is January 1th, 2024 (or according to mutual agreement). The employment is five months in total.
The workplace is DTU Lyngby Campus.
