4i4 is growing fast and we are looking to strengthen our team with a new colleague. To continue improving our product, we are looking for a hands-on embedded engineer who is able to program and configure different microprocessors with different communication protocols dedicated to ventilation systems and building management systems (BMSs) and is curious to learn about different ventilation systems.
The position
Are you an embedded software engineer with hands-on experience in hardware implementation and experience in the building industry and BMSs? As an embedded engineer, you play an important role in developing our product and being able to build up a foundation that can be used in different types of processes and different control systems that are used in ventilation systems.
To Be Successful In This Role, You Should Be
- MSc graduate in mechanical, mechatronics, or electronic engineering.
- Experience with the air handling unit and its dynamic modelling.
- Experienced in C/C++, Python, and Java for embedded systems is essential.
- Experience in microcontroller programming, specifically Raspberry Pi CM4 is essential.
- Experience in Linux server administration including backend databases and scripts.
- Experience in SQL for database management (MSSQL, MySQL).
- Experience in building up software architecture including backend and frontend architectural design.
- Experience with Metabase is essential for data virtualization using dashboards
- Experienced with PLCs, and their communication protocols.
- Experienced with integration of different sub-systems.
- Already have experience in connecting to the controller of the air handling unit with Raspberry Pi.
In addition, it is a plus if you have experience with:
- Machine learning
- Modeling of complex systems
- Motor control
Personally, you are a fast learner and have an analytical approach to your work. You understand that teamwork and collaboration are key elements to succeed in a startup organization. You thrive in an ever-changing work environment and enjoy solving complex tasks.
