BEMÆRK: Ansøgningsfristen er overskredet

DTU Skylab is looking for a colleague with experience and interest in supporting our student innovation activities with focus on developing and facilitating short sprints with industry and students, and larger open innovation events across universities with industry partners.

You will be part of our ongoing activities where students collaborate with external partners. You will help organize and facilitate these collaborations with both national and international partners, and you will take part in scoping the challenges from the external partners to make it possible for the students to participate and contribute. You will also be encouraged to bring your own project ideas.

Your primary tasks will be to organize and facilitate innovation activities with external partners and students as the primary target groups – including shaping and working in partnerships to deliver formats such as MiniSprint, OpenInnovation and EXPLORE where sponsorships are to be mobilized. You will contribute to developing and formalizing innovation method toolboxes used in the innovation sprints and handle project management tasks by taking an active part in project planning and strategy (from planning, mobilizing partners and funding, quality assurance, evaluation) and ensuring that there is coherence between program objectives and results.

You will manage projects and participate in projects with themes within sustainability, innovation and external partnerships and also ensure ongoing knowledge sharing and effective communication among involved project partners and to the steering committee. Furthermore, you will be responsible for DTU Skylab’s contribution to curricular innovation activities at the university and for coordinating with other DTU units like DTU Partnerships and DTU Entrepreneurship.

As a person, you are proactive, inventive, and accustomed to having different tasks on your plate simultaneously and ready to solve tasks ad hoc. You must be a good finisher with attention to detail and organization. You are welcoming and are always at eye level with people around you.

Our expectations of you
We envision that you:

  • Have a relevant academic background, preferably within innovation and development
  • Previous experience in a role coordinating and managing innovation programs connecting students and industry in shorter formats
  • Have relevant network and collaboration experience working across Danish universities in general and at DTU in Particular
  • Bring knowledge and insights in youth engagement formats together with passion and knowledge about sustainability
  • Bring your experience with generative workshop facilitation and experience developing solutions of either social or technological character into play
  • Have an understanding of the structure of innovation eco-systems, including quadrable helix and the role of intermediary organizations.

It is crucial that you have a structured approach and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment. You can plan and prioritize your time and can weigh the quality and scope of the task solution against the time available.

You have good collaboration skills and take independent responsibility for the execution of tasks.

As we are an international environment, it is mandatory that you write and speak English at a high level.

You are a network person who loves to talk to people and create new relationships - and you are not afraid to be on stage.

What we offer in return
We are an inspiring workplace, with around 60 full-time employees in 3 sections where the approach to supporting student innovation and entrepreneurship is in the front and in constant development.
