If you are looking for an exciting opportunity, the Materials and Surface Engineering section, Department of Civil and Mechanical Engineering, Technical University of Denmark is seeking a candidate for a laboratory engineer position to work on corrosion tests and materials characterization related to electronics. The employee will work on specific tasks in collaboration with industry. Position is for a period of 1 year. 

The job
You will assist with laboratory work in relation to corrosion investigation of electronic components. You will also participate in materials characterization. This position is connected to completing specific electronic corrosion related analysis of corroded industrial electronics components in a consortium project.

Our expectations of you
You must be skilled within the following techniques especially in relation with corrosion in electronics:

  • Optical microscopy 
  • Scanning Electron microscopy
  • Inductively Coupled Plasma Analysis
  • Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy
  • Electrochemical corrosion test methods 

We expect you to have a bachelor's degree.

Salary and appointment terms
The appointment will be based on the collective agreement with the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations (AC). The position is for one year, starting as soon as possible.
