At DTU Chemical Engineering we need a detail-oriented laboratory technician who can perform routine measurements and ensure that our impressive laboratory continues to create value. You will assist students in getting started with experiments and perform measurements in the laboratory. The projects include, among other things, CO2 capture, and the right candidate will thus be an important part of the green transition.
The job
You will be a key person for the ongoing projects. We have a very large and well-equipped laboratory that is used by both professors and students. Over time, several projects have accumulated a large number of samples that need to be measured. In addition, there is a need for a unifying person who can ensure that the various setups and equipment function reliably, as well as provide introductions on how to use the setups. Personal safety is of the utmost importance, so participation in the institute’s safety committee will also be a natural task.
Primary responsibilities
- Measurement of liquid samples using techniques such as titration and ion chromatography
- Ongoing supervision and maintenance of existing laboratory setups
- Introduction of students to laboratory setups
- Assistance for students starting their work
- Participation in safety committee

Salary and appointment terms
The salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the OAO-S collective agreement and the organizational agreement for office workers, laboratory technicians, and IT employees (HK/Stat).
The start date will be determined by mutual agreement. The position is temporary and expires on 31 December 2025. The average working hours will be 37 hours per week.
The workplace is DTU Chemical Engineering in Lyngby.
