We seek a part-time programmer to assist with a research project on representation learning for algorithmic fairness in generative AI models. 

Part-time programmer for algorithmic fairness
Your tasks will include designing and implementing tests for demographic bias in generative AI models such as large language models or text-to-image models, as well as actively taking part in writing papers based on those experiments. Work independently but supervised by members of the research team.

Our expectations of you
We seek a candidate with excellent skills using, adapting and analyzing state-of-the-art machine learning models. We seek a candidate with prior experience working with algorithmic fairness.

Salary and appointment terms
The appointment will be based on the collective agreement with the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations (AC). The position is for 15 hours per week for a period of 6 months. The starting date will be June 1 or as soon as possible thereafter. 

The position Is located in the Section for Visual Computing at DTU Compute.
