The job
DTU has considerable activities with quantum technologies reaching from leading edge research on quantum based communication, quantum computing over quantum based sensors and fabrication of quantum devices.

DTU Quantum is seeking a technically proficient, detail-oriented, and motivated individual with a strong background in physics to serve as a project manager at Quantum DTU. The incumbent will play a crucial role in supporting the Head of Quantum in operational duties, while also assisting in the technical aspects of the research, academic, and collaborative projects.

The Quantum DTU center is anchored at DTU Nanolab, the National Center for Nano Fabrication and Characterization. The Center is headed by Head of Quantum DTU and refers to a steering group headed by DTU’s Provost including the director of DTU Nanolab and head of departments from DTU Compute, DTU Electro, DTU Chemistry, and DTU Physics. The project manager will refer to the Head of Quantum DTU.

Our expectations of you

  1. Provide comprehensive operational and technical support to the Head of Quantum.
  2. Help coordinate internal and external communications related to research and technical activities, including write-up of newsletter.
  3. Help organize and assist in the planning of meetings, seminars, workshops, and departmental events that often involve technical discussions.
  4. Assist in preparing technical reports, academic papers, presentations, and grant proposals, ensuring high standards of accuracy and presentation.
  5. Read daily news about Quantum Technologies and create short reports.
  6. Facilitate network building with researchers, industry professionals, governments and other stakeholders.

Salary and appointment terms
The appointment will be based on the collective agreement with the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations (AC). 

The weekly working hours are 28.
