At the department of DTU Health Tech, we are looking for a project manager to drive a project with potential for creating a spin-out company focusing on cutting-edge gene therapy for cancer treatment and regenerative medicine for osteoarthritis. We are dedicated to advancing medical science through innovative research and development.
The job
We are seeking a driven and enthusiastic project manager to join our dynamic team. This role involves driving forward proof-of-concept studies in drug delivery and gene therapy, contributing to the development of novel gene therapies for cancer, and playing a pivotal role in osteoarthritis regenerative medicine research.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage preclinical study planning and execution.
- Develop and present compelling pitch decks for investor outreach.
- Function as a project manager, ensuring timely delivery of project milestones.
- Foster relationships with stakeholders, including funding bodies and collaborators.
- Drive innovative research in cancer immunotherapy and regenerative medicine.
- Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making processes.
Key Qualifications:
- PhD in Immunology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
- Proven experience in cancer immunotherapy and gene therapy research.
- Demonstrated success in project management and preclinical study design.
- Excellent communication skills for effective investor and stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary environment.

Salary and appointment terms
The appointment will be based on the collective agreement with the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations (AC).
