DTU Partnerships is searching for a structured and motivated student assistant to join our team. Here you get the opportunity to dive into the world of strategic partnerships between large companies and academia, and play a vital role in the success of these collaborations.
By joining DTU Partnerships, you will become an integral part of one of the university’s core support functions, specifically the Partnership Office in the Department for Research, Advice, and Innovation.
Our team consists of around 24 employees who are passionate about advancing innovation and strong connections with the industry. You will primarily work in a collaborative environment alongside project managers who will provide you with guidance and support.
What will I be doing?
As a student assistant you will primarily support the practicalities of running partnerships in our DTU Talent Partner program. You will be involved in events from start to finish with a variety of tasks such as planning and preparing, communication (social media, graphics, event site, etc), facilitating workshops and collecting data afterwards.
We are collaborating with more than 30 innovation-driven diverse companies in our program with names such as Novo Nordisk, Novozymes, LEGO, Deloitte, PwC, KPMG, IFF and many more.
The Talent Partner programme consists of a variety of events of different scale – from workshops with 30 students to DTU Career Night with more than 300 students. These events take place throughout the year, and you will be a key player in making sure we create engaging and insightful events - which we are constantly working to improve.
Besides being the backbone of DTU Talent Partner, you will also be supporting the DTU Partnerships office with e.g. minor analysis tasks and PowerPoint presentations, depending on current projects.
We imagine that you:
- Are currently enrolled in a relevant university education programme
- Are interested in industry collaboration
- Have a keen interest in making great events from start to finish
- Are structured and organized
- Have good communication skills
- Have experience with using Excel and PowerPoint
- Have excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal – knowledge of Danish is an advantage
- Are a team player and takes responsibility for your tasks.

You will refer to Jonas Orebo Pyndt, Team Lead in the Department for Research, Advice and Innovation. Your primary place of work will be DTU Lyngby Campus, Anker Engelunds Vej 1, 2800 Lyngby. Working from home will be possible to some extent.
Salary and appointment terms
Appointment will be based on the multi-union collective agreement for the Organizations of Public Employees—Denmark (State) (OAO-S) and the trade union agreement for clerical staff etc. (HK/State), or another relevant union.
Working hours are on average 15 hours per week and can be flexible in relation to holidays, exams, etc. Starting date is February 1, 2024 (or according to mutual agreement). The employment runs as long as you are an active student.
